Its done in the style of one of those american reality tv programmes...wheres six contenders have to kill each other til there is one left.Full of dark humour (can an ex-gay pacifist become a contender?)and a swipe at all things gothic...it truly is a work of art...extremely tacky....perfectly mimicking the programmes it spoofs...and with a surprising twist.....do yourselves a favour and rent it soon.

....fans of Battle Royale will love it!

japanese animation's piss poor. the characters don't even move. sure there's a moral and all that but if it's not got pretty colors it's not gonna grab my attention. i loved it when all those japanese kids had epileptic fits. someone should try and make that happen again.

I used to be well into anime when I was younger...but I kind of drifted away from it....still like Akira though...the idea of these crazy cartoons become real life films apeals to me loads though,because it will be interesting to see how they are handled.....

a live action akira film's been promised for so long. i can't remember a time when there wasn't going to be a live action akira. so i don't give a shit because it will never happen. i'll still be hearing about one when i'm an old man.
